About me
Hi, I'm Amber Battishill, your Macaroni KID publisher for Fenton, Linden, Holly, and the surrounding areas of Swartz Creek, Howell, Davisburg, Durand and Clarkston. I was born and raised in Holly, Michigan. After attending Central Michigan University, I moved to Fenton in 2012 with my husband and have called it home ever since. We have two elementary aged children and we love to stay busy exploring trails, activities, and events in our community! Aside from mom life, I'm also a yoga and mindfulness teacher, owner of Mommy Gone Healthy (a lifestyle blog with an emphasis on healthy living), an avid reader, and I love getting creative in the kitchen.
I’ve been a Macaroni KID subscriber for years and loved how easy it was to find fun, unique and inexpensive family-friend events and activities in our area. When I saw that they were looking for publisher for our area, I couldn't wait to start!
