Being a mom is a life-changing experience. We are immediately overcome by a love for another human being that we never knew possible...then reality sets in. Sleepless nights, priority shifts, new worries, constant feedings, toddler tantrums, homework hassles, after school activities, hormones...
It is all a blessing, no doubt, whatever stage of motherhood you encounter. Though all too often, we don't prioritize ourselves as we get caught up in the day-to-day survival. To be at our best as their momma/mommy/mom, we need to remember to recharge our batteries by carving out some "me time"!
